Got the same problem with one of the sports bookies, i've sent 1mBTC with low TX fee to my friend's account and he spent some even though it was not confirmed yet and they locked his account.

We email the support and they advised to send some BTC to compensate for the spent bitcoin and we obliged, sent BTC from my other wallet (this time with higher TX fee) and they remove all the restriction of his account and he can resume betting.

But my other wallet remains useless as i have a pending TX and i don't know if that would be confirmed.

Some sites allows players to instant deposit means the balance will get credited even before the required number of confirmation but if RBF is enabled on such transaction then it can be double spend on that cases only the account will get frozen. But if you are sending funds to your own gambling account then its unlikely to happen that is why it is important to explain what happened to support and get back your account.

Instant deposits are long time gone because majority are really requiring at least 1 confirmation in the network before the deposit would reflect out into your balance

and with regards with double spending issue then this is the main reason on why they do changed up routes or set up to be like this.
