if not, we'll scrap the project and try again with lessons learned.

we also have the option of creating another coin and using the faircoin addresses database to distribute the new coin

you should be able to go back to genesis block, start all over, backup the wallet or wallets, divide them up, dont encrypt, distribute on the test network if available, with some kind of script that uses a csv file, so the distribution is faster maybe.

The problem with that is the pre-trade trades... people have bought and sold...
