Sam Curran is not a player who should play at number 8 because in IPL he was coming at number 3, 4 and 5 and got great success to the team and individually even though CSK didn't make it into playoffs. So they should give a balancing team instead of including every batsman who may not fit into that batting position.

I agree. Curran needs to bat either at no.6 or a position above that. The England middle order (especially Buttler, Morgan.etc) failed pathetically during the Indian tour. They could have given an opportunity for Curran to bat higher up the order. Anyway, now the tour is finished and he will be concentrating on the IPL. And I am sure that the CSK management is not stupid enough to waste his batting skills by demoting him to no.8 or no.9.
I am expecting him to bat at number 5 position because Raina is back into CSK so he is the best ever batsmen at that position for CSK all the time and number 4 will be Rayudu so Curran at 5 and Dhoni at 6 will be good for destructive death overs for sure and more to add that left and right combo will work and shatter the bowlers line which has been missing in CSK last year due to the absence of Raina.
