They might have improvements or might not. It will depend on Messi decisions and transfer season. Even Messi stays in the club and they have good transfers, no guarantee that they can get success (with titles) in the first season with some new contracts. New players need time to build up connections with all squad. Some can have quick adaption and some will need one or two seasons.

Ansu Fati is a great player from La Massia and the first outstanding one after the generation of Messi, Iniesta, Fabregas, Valdes and Pique. The latest player who created such hype like Fati is Bojan Krkic who later has a failure in his career. I hope Fati will have a brighter and more successful career than Krkic.

I believe they will definitely be better, I do not think that there is a chance it could be any worse than what it is today. I know they are doing fine and I know they could do even better but the looks of it is basically worse, their league standing shows a story that they have been decent but the reality is that we know that's not going to be the case for this year if that president change didn't happen and that is why I think they will be better next year.

They started horrible at the first games but ended up better in the next games, that is going to happen for the next season, they will not have a bad president from the start and if messi stays they are going to make some transfers that he will want. Mostly notably they have been in talks with Haaland and even if only that happens that would be more than enough and I am sure that would make them champions next year.
