Each country is different so I do not know how things work on the Philippines, but if Manny wants to run for president he will at some point in time do it, now maybe he losses and that is fine, if the citizens of the Philippines have a good president and now they expect more from their leaders then there is nothing wrong with that, to my knowledge it is very difficult to make the transition of being a sports celebrity to a politician but it can be done if people are tired of their leaders, but with an approval rating so high it will be difficult for Manny to win in the case he makes a run for the presidency.
Even though the approval rating is high but doesnt mean or give out guarantees that it can really give out the chance for him to become president or people would really be voting him.

Not to discriminate but it would be better if he wouldnt really be wishing up to go with those high ranking position on a certain countries officials specially on being a president.

Someone who had been on politics should really be put up and fully aware on how things circling around not on sports but literally in economic area and this isnt something
that he can handled it well.
As I said it depends on how things are in the country, for Manny right now it is going to be difficult to win the presidency, but there are many countries in which a celebrity has run for president and won because they do not trust in politicians anymore and they think someone outside the current crop of politicians is needed, probably the most known examples of this are Donald Trump and Ronald Reagan both winning the elections in the most influential country of the world, so if that can happen there it can happen anywhere.
