Well, that is a very simple analogy but yet that is true.
If I have been invested in bitcoin year back 2018 when bitcoin dropped too much, perhaps I am able to get my profit now and harvested at the right time. I 100% agree with that matter, it just like you saved funds for a better future and bitcoin is the right answer on that investment.
Imagine, if I am invested from $3k price at that time when bitcoin dumped too much and I was able to keep it until today and bitcoin price hit $60k. It folded how many times and I think that is enough and considerable like a tree.

I also agree with the OP thought about Bitcoin but this is still applicable to investors that have knowledge about the market and not selling their holding because it, not all the people that invested in the year 2018 still have their Bitcoin as we speak.

I really like the analogy that the opening post says, it is very painful to hear by people who have sold their Bitcoin. Because to get a large profit
from Bitcoin, we have to be patient like planting trees, it took years to feel the results. It's a sad fact that most investors who invested in Bitcoin
in 2018 have already sold it and now don't own Bitcoin. Because it is very rare for investors to patiently hold the Bitcoin they owned in 2018 until now.
If there is that person it would be very lucky to see the current Bitcoin price at $ 57k and I believe it will continue to rise.
