If you consider gambling as trading, there are still ways for you to make money. Yet, I do not encourage that activity because not many of you capable to limit your time and money so as not to fail in the addicted trap. For example, just like you say, we can make a few sport bet in a day (or a week if you do not like to involve with many games) and we only comeback to see the results. Make a spreadsheet of winning and losing matches with algorithm to manage your funds. With deep analysis, being profitable in sport betting is possible. The same method can be used with poker. Other games (such as dice or crash) do not provide the same winning percentage because of the higher house edge and less positive outcome
Analyzing bets for a period is a good idea, but few people do it. But this should be done if there is a goal to make money from gambling. I don’t devote much time to gambling because for me it’s like entertainment. Although there are times when I manage to win good streaks, I get very upset when I lose. And that's why I can't get too involved in gambling, when I'm upset I make a lot of mistakes and lose money.
