Don't merit back... this kind of merit "trading" is usually frowned upon since merit is supposed to be used for good posts, not to pay someone back.

Come to think of it, even voting via merit is kinda sketchy but at least those yes/no posts could arguably be considered "good".

But imo some positive previous history of the thread shouldn’t be ignored but embraced, it’s just a part of the thread

Or, you could just let previous history be previous.

There is no true right or wrong between our choices.... just some different kind of what we like or don’t like I guess I’m in favor nothing more as just my opinion
