BPIP has data on when a user was banned. It doesn't really matter though: Merit is for posts, and banned users can still have good posts.

Yes, but in theory since every merit you get gives you a fraction of a merit to send they are being removed from circulation.
And, I know more merits are being added by merit source.

Also, and this is just my opinion. WHY a user was banned matters. I have seen people banned for plagiarism and their older posts are still up some of which were plagiarized. So you could have still merited them, eventually they were removed but you (not you LoyceV the you in general) could have merited a plagiarized post from a banned user and then that post could have been removed.

All of it is 100% irrelevant, but I just thought that it would be an interesting thing to see.
