I think that's impossible for small and medium investors to afford that amount because it was worth millions of dollars. But it's okay for the whales because they have money to afford it the 10,000 BTC with its current price will need a huge amount of money that's why only whales can afford it. by the way, famous crypto billionaires like the Winklevoss twins are holding BTC for a long time so 10 years it's not enough for them.

Once this thing implodes all are whales will be paupers over-night, and once they panic sale, then all the other whales follow,BTC will be trading in the negative.

Anybody still believe's the HODL mythology is a moron, who deserves to lose everything.

The only question right now, is when BTC reverts to $10k, will it then fall to $6k? or $3k IMHO once the whales start panicking you could see sub $1k over-night, and if that happens, nobody will come back accept fools who will wait forever.
