You know there are thousands of coins in the market right now, how can you say "many" altcoins are worth investing? It's very hard to find good altcoins that haven't found its potential value now, you can say good thing about major altcoins but they already made their most profitable run.
OP should be more specific about "best", the main purpose must be to do profit but in what timeframe? Answers would change in 1 yera, 5 years, 10 years or 1 month. I'm sure you don't want to hodl an overpriced coin for many years, instead you have to find undervalued coins with high potential. It's not an easy job, counting on Top 50 coins would be the easy choice.
