I too have the same question. I am taking my budget and fanning out a bit more and doing multiple algorithms. Most of which are SHA-256 but am adding a few Scrypt miners and others. I would be curious where you get .03 electricity from (what part of the world are you in?).

I chose the S19J 100T to make electricity more energy efficient although its less profitable per day.

We can keep comparing notes, but also curious what mining farm software you learning toward?

Probably its not very profitable to make old gear given the influx of new rig models and the demand to make power supplies for those. Given that alot of pre-order batches are already committed to sellers, unless the power supply guys ramp up more, they could be fat and happy just making for new rig models.

I ran into a seller who had a ton of old miners (2-3 years) that were still running in a farm, but they were concerned about how fragile they were and the probability of them breaking during shipment. They were totally willing to sell the gear, but I thought about it and went a different direction.

I did see Innosilicon do a short run on T2T 26Th which is a potential for some entry level miners at @1,000USD but I think those are already sold out (I picked up 7 of them).

So for $60k, pick what you really want to mine (one or different coins) and grab the more energy efficient models that fit that desire. I am taking the different coin path and picking up primarily new rigs (have 1 used coming in, but it is an experiment). And then find cheap power (that hopefully is partially or fully renewable)!.
