Investing in both would have been better cause they are both profitable, but it's a matter of choice, you can pick cryptocurrency since there's so many of them that can easily give you 100x in short term, as for coinbase coin with the reputation coinbase has been able to build over the years investing in their stock would be a great idea as long as it keeps this current reputation up, but don't forget to still do a research before investing in both of them.

It's true that it all depends on each other's choices but what is clear is that you don't need to hesitate if you really plan to invest in both,
investing in cryptocurrencies is certainly not easy apart from the big risks it also requires an understanding of things related to cryptocurrencies,
