It could be solved with EOS 2.0 and the PoS mechanism, but if it too long to be developed than i doubt people want to wait that long.
For EOS, its have a unique thing on the network like account based rather than address based, but its also something that prevent people to use the network since u need to pay some dollars to create the account.
