Sell immediately or hold for a while does not change that you will move your airdropped bitcoin. It will break your privacy. Maybe I am too cautious but it is what I thought.

those airdropped coin will be forever associated with them anyway as the gov issued them. actually a great way to track peeps and see what they do.
