Yeah, I guess everyone is fine as long as the KYC is not mandatory but optional since stake offers so many promotions make me understand why they want to do it. Honestly, KYC helps reduce a lot of multi-accounting too so it will bring more bonuses to single users or let's say, legitimate players. I am sure there are lots of abusers who must be taking advantage of Eddie's weekend guarantee and promotions like that where stake is technically just giving out free money.

I love the NBA promotions stake does and hopefully they have something cool in mind for the upcoming NFL too. Wimbledon trebles is decent as I made the bet on 1st treble they had and it actually won, although it took 3 days for the Monfils game to end.
You need to have wagered at least 1000$ during the last past 7 days to be eligible to the Eddie's weekend risk free bet offer, even if you are VIP ranked, then I doubt that so many people are able to abuse this promotion. KYC could perhaps help to reduce promotion abuse but minimum wager or VIP ranking requirements could do the same too.
I do believe that as long as there are some ways to prevent the abuse, stake will always do that, they are very good at preventing abuse (maybe a bit late sometimes but they do) and that is why I think they will sort it out. However that optional thing is also a bit of a problem for people who are not out there to scam or abuse the system but only because they do not want to share their KYC, which is totally understandable, I do not want to give all of my ID to someone and say "here is who I am, and I gamble online" because that is not always legal, or maybe even illegal but in the gray area and that is still understandable.

I feel like there is this risky thing going on with giving all of your information in that regard. In the end, it is stake that will decide on things and I just have to respect what they do because they know what they are doing.
