now that you mention spell check and Grammarly, I think you're right. my phone does have a spell check feature. seeing that the period button(which I always accidentally push every time I type on my phone) is right next to the space bar on phones, it's probably the most likely scenario. I completely forgot about the spell check that's why I thought of a translator.
