In that case yes, it would be good. When u sitting 8h on your desk at home or at work - then you could work extra 2h for someone and do physical work. Instead of going 2h to the fitness centre.

I would still recommend proper exercise after a long work day at a desk.
Not every physical activity is equally healthy. It is important not to overdo it. Particularly if your muscles have weakened due to inactivity.
