Yes, maybe there will be new hope when Carlo Ancelotti was in charge of Real Madrid's squad and Gareth Bale could be back in the first team, so what he needs to do is give his best performance. When playing at Tottenham last season, Bale's performance was not bad where from 20 appearances in the EPL he was able to score 11 times.

Even though Bale's contract at Real Madrid only has 1 year left but if he can show good form (and become Carlo Ancelotti's first choice) then he will most likely be offered a contract renewal by Real Madrid (at least for 1 or 2 years).

I can't talk about if he will get a contract renewable or not because of his performance but I think he deserves one just because how much he worths, even if they do not want to keep him, they should sign him and then sell him if they want to. However many players realized that it is easier to move around when you are free agent compared to being sold so if he is not given enough play time then next season he is 100% definitely leaving.

Ancelotti is a great manager but if the ties with Perez and Bale is too thin then player will not want to play or drag his feet which Ancellotti is not the type of manager that will try to appease to players, he will want the best and if Bale doesn't provide it then he will be out again.
