I think what you mean is you want to learn how to employ strategy or methods so you can play effectively and win, people can teach how to play but they cannot tell you or even teach you how to win continuously in a game.
These gurus are lying if they tell you that you can beat the house, you can sometimes but not most of the time, the longer you play the game will shift to the house, so accept the reality that you cannot make money in gambling but you can have fun here.
