I've never seen a "Merit source status" being transfered at a user's request. Any someone established member can apply to be a Merit source.

This doesn't prove or disprove anything without reading the posts (which I can't). But given how long you've been around, chances are you made those posts before the Merit system even existed.
Feel free to posts some of your posts in Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source, but the language makes it difficult for most Merit sources.
