It is certainly going to stay forever and we should be honest and admit that the risk reward ratio in crypto is what many people gets excited and involved. The large majority of market participants doesn't fully understand the tech nor do they put in several hours per day to stay up to date all the time. They love to play around, put their portfolio together and hope to get a bit lucky here and there if possible. The hardcore guys who really try to be on top of the game most of the time are probably also doing this for a living.

It's true that the ratio of the risk and reward makes it more interesting and understandable. Especially for those people that are already in investments and understands the technology.
