Watching market price oscillation along with signals from others will be interesting because you are having future plan of getting into making use of others' signals but when it comes about real term trading you might be finding something different rather than how you are doing right now. Because, watching price oscillation while we are having open position will not be that much interesting but watching market with our positions are in positive and nearing target levels must be more interesting but that will not happen all the times.
It is also a great way to learn how to trade with some goals setup and everything ready, having a vision always helps. There are too many people like me who just doesn't know what they are doing, I personally just buy buy buy and that's it, I am considered a long term investor which is great because even I wouldn't give myself a name, but since I do not sell unless I am absolutely forced to because of some life stuff, I just keep holding.
However a person who has vision and know what they are doing, know indicators, know the TA inside out then they are going to be a lot better than me, even if they are a newbie they will be better because they know what they are doing and they actually have an aim for it. This is why I think it is quite good that one ends up with learning all those stuff, it will allow them to be a lot more profitable in the future.
