Titcoin Update

Titcoin version 0.16.3.5 has been released!

Almost one year after the previous release, this version 0.16.3.5 comes with updated high-speed seed nodes brought to you by @Cminor and other unknown heroes. Apart from that, the previous timeout (2021-12-31) for the crucial Segwit and CSV softforks, which unlock additional features for future development, has been removed, which means that these features will be enabled at any point in time in the future as soon as enough Titcoin miners support it. This should have been the way right from the beginning, sorry for that.

All miners and pool operators should update to this new version .5 as soon as possible, to continue supporting the softfork even after 2021-12-31.

The following milestones on the roadmap are:

Rebasing to newest Bitcoin core, enabling Bech32 addresses, Segwit and atomic swaps (ETA: as soon as we have >90% miner support, + 2-3 months)
Development of a native "lightweight" mode that is used by all graphical wallets by default, and can be switched on or off in the settings. (ETA: Q1 2022). This should reduce the initial syncing time for non-verifying nodes to a few seconds.
Development of a prototype Android wallet based on titcoind using lightweight mode. (ETA: Q3 2022)
