Ethereum can not beat bitcoin as bitcoin is still the leader among the other coins. They are both different. Sure they can all be used for transactions, but they are different, they have different goals that they were developed to achieve.If you search up Ethereum, it’s being said that it is created for smart contracts, so it’s quite different.That aside, I don’t think there is any cryptocurrency that can beat Bitcoin right now, and not just now, even years to come I still can’t imagine that happening.

Being the first cryptocurrency gave BTC so many advantages over other cryptocurrencies in the market. But it’s not all about which is number one or not, it’s all about what you want, whichever cryptocurrency gives you that, then you should go for it.
