Perhaps some projects will appear there, but I'm not sure about their popularity.

The biggest advantage is the "green" side, it clearly consumes less electricity to run a HDD than an ASIC or graphic card.
When some useful apps will be available on Chia blockchain, the interest for this green project will explode!
