You're correct on that but this was all speculations but I think it has been lagging more if we see it behind Bitcoin. I think $5k price for Ethereum alone this year is something a doable scenario considering how much development was put into, I just hope that there will be no further long delays especially the ETH 2.0 that is considered bullish. $4k might be seen sooner or later again and probably by this month alone a $5k is achievable, fingers crossed.

Looking at the current development of Ethereum maybe this month the price could reach $ 5k,
although actually it's not something easy but it's better if we just see the progress to make it clearer

I was quite surprised that Ethereum was up 20% in a week, and now Ethereum is at $3700, which looks like Ethereum will return to ATH prices
in the near future. Ethereum has been doing pretty well this month, but it's too early to say Ethereum will hit $5k this month. Since the crypto
market is highly volatile, there is still a possibility that Ethereum will correct if it has gone up this far. So it might take a little longer to reach
the $5k price, at least I'm pretty optimistic that Ethereum can hit $5k this year.
