The most of the time I like to send merits to new users, because this can encourage you to be more participative and share their experiences with other users
That's good, and if I were you I would keep doing that--and thanks for the merit but don't merit my posts in the future, please. Save those sMerits for Hero members and ranks below that (just a suggestion; I'm not telling you what to do), because they're the members for which merits are actually useful. For Legendary members, it'll be just a dick-measuring contest unless Theymos adds a rank above Legendary--but I'm pretty sure that's not in the works.
What happens is that many are just looking for that extra income, and getting this is not as simple as many try to count. It's simple yes, but they require work and dedication. In turn, those who are not willing to have this work and this dedication, end up leaving the forum.
Or worse, they stay and crank out one shitpost after another, and their post history looks like a list of posts of similar length and content, full of nonsense and devoid of thought or effort. I think that happens more so than members leaving the forum voluntarily because of difficulties making posts for their campaigns or bounties.
