I have had previous experience using EOS in my transactions before and they are quite cheap. However, the OP is right, it seemed no one is talking about EOS anymore. We have no idea if the team is still actively developing their network or not. Because the last published event was the beyond blockchain hackathon held last March 2 - April 7, 2021 = https://eos.io/events/.

I also don't think of EOS as a bad project, several times I traded using EOS and managed to make a profit. And also like you said, transactions
using EOS are quite cheap and fast. So I see EOS is still a potential to buy. The problem is the number of altcoins in circulation is very large and
new altcoins continue to emerge. If the EOS development team is not so active, EOS will be even more forgotten, because investors will turn to
projects that are indeed growing. Even though EOS projects are old, very few people talk about them. There must be a movement from
the team of developers to make EOS grow, it is not easy to compete in the crypto world. Only those who are active and can continue to develop
their projects will attract investors attention.
