I find it especially funny that Keystone (ex Cobo Vault, ex.. it was something else before Cobo, right? Why is it always changing brand?) removes AAA support in their 'Ultimate' edition.
Keystone currently doesn't sell their Ultimate Keystone wallet version, and I think it's way overpriced with price of $479 but it is meant for institutional players.
I think they can restart manufacturing and add AAA support if enough people shows interest, but rechargeable battery is still good enough and AAA batteries are meant more to be for emergency use case.

But you need to also take into account that only unsatisfied customers complain about a product. Those who have no problems, won't open a reddit thread saying everything is OK. That's just the way it is. For every unsatisfied user, there might be 10 who are happy with what they got. However, there might also be another 10 people with problems that haven't been addressed in public. We will never know the exact numbers.
We are talking only about ledger reddit channel here that has small number of members compared to number of devices ledger sold so far,
and they made no announcement about this on their official website or on their much bigger twitter channel... I wonder why else than to hide what's really happening with batteries.
Not to mention they are constantly downvoting every public post complain on ledger reddit... that is really pathetic.
