I think no coin can be the next Ethereum, because Ethereum is the best and will remain in 2nd position on coinmarketcap, so I'm sure no coin can beat Ethereum until whenever, but if you ask which coin can compete with Ethereum, then of course the answer is BNB, because in my opinion BNB is the toughest rival of Ethereum, but still BNB will never beat Ethereum or become the next Ethereum.

ETH is already far from every available coin in terms of success, probably coins that may follow are BNB,
ADA and now we have this hot Solana,

Those are coins which have good community supports and also offers chain where developers are
allowed to create their project inside.

From that three mentioned coin, Although ADA is much closer to ETH but in my opinion BNB
still have a closer chance to meet those criterias.

BNB with the help of BSC is following the success of ETH.
