I do not think that it is depending on the price at all. It could have gone public when it was 10 bucks or it may never go public in the future as well. Remember coinbase doesn't have a coinbase coin whereas binance started out with BNB, so yeah we did gained a lot, but at the same time it allowed them to be binance. The people who gave them money on their ICO earned insane amount of money if they kept it, but without those people paying for binance to exist then they wouldn't be a company worth billions upon billions of dollars neither.

All I think would work in this case is if they manage to convince any nation to accept them with the coin, if not then it could be a million dollars each and nothing would change, or if they can convince a nation then they could do it today. The problem here is the coin, not the price that is attached to it.
