In regards to the reading part, I'd recommend doing what @acroman08 suggested ^{[landscape view]} and for those that are interested in a better experience for posting stuff, I'd recommend combining the landscape view with a portable Bluetooth keyboard while using the "quick reply" feature!

  Note: Every single one of these versions has its own limitations and depending on how each post is formatted ^{[e.g. those with tables]}, viewing it using any of the above versions might be a nightmare.
