If you want to fill that void, I'd suggest a Chromebook. If you don't like the google crap, some can have alternative operating systems installed. Not having a keyboard is annoying to me and the only place I accept it is with my phone where portability is the primary criteria.

Thanks Richy. I was wondering what tablet device could boot from an alternative operating system. Haven’t checked it out yet, but I hope you’re talking about a a native support of such OS’es.
I wouldn’t have given my tablet a mere pass, if not for the (a) awesome screen response, and (b) the magic keyboard.

My tracking device is quickly becoming - only for emergency calls - and into the Faraday case it goes again.
