It looks like "Manchester Unaide" isn't the direct source, he copied someone else quoting Manchester Unaide from another site. I'd say it's plagiarism, but it might be the same loophole as adding a bunch of links under your post.

For some reason, it seemed to me earlier that the plagiarism rule does not apply to short phrases, since there is a high probability of accidental coincidences.

It looks like it's rewritten from goal.com. The article on goal.com was posted later. I guess many "sports sites" post more or less the same things, so maybe this is "normal" in that business.
