I would do these on your BIOS settings:

Set PCIe to Gen 2
4G decoding turned on (cryptomining mode in some boards)
Turn off any overclocking (including on RAM -- XMP)

appreciate the reply. the board is loaded with optimal defaults and havent seen anything like 4G decoding among its bios options but will have another good luck thru. Given PM reply after yours I shall wait it out for next release whilst trying not to sucumb to falling back into windows which would hurt the spirit but not the pocket lol.
