This is true. Don't be too confident to share it to other's especially if you don't totally know them because we don't know if what will be playing on their minds after knowing we own bitcoin. It is too dangerous to narrate to people that you are involved in crypto industry. It's better to not show unto them for you to not receive threats like you said. As much as possible it's better to not expose ownership. However, social media was too popular right now that's why we can't just ignore it, as we can see most of the people who hold bitcoin are too proud to tell the whole world that they own even just a little. They must be careful because evil acts might always monitor them from all direction that they are not aware of.

Therefore we must wisely use social media, because many criminals use social media too. Not all things are good for us to share on social media,
we must be able to limit which things are allowed to be shown to the public. Especially when it comes to wealth, it can attract the attention of
criminals. With Bitcoin price already above $60k, that's a very high value. So for people showing off that they own Bitcoin, it means they are
indirectly telling the public they are rich. Of course this makes them the target of criminals, especially now that the global crisis is still happening,
make people look for shortcuts to earn money. So in some countries the crime rate has increased since the pandemic. So it's better we don't have
to show how much Bitcoin we have, or don't even look at the profit we make from trading on social media, it's very risky.
