The reason for this "hostility", which I would rather call skepticism, is that we are sick of seeing newbies creating threads like this one to fish for merits, people who are later found to be alt accounts of other accounts that have been banned or red trusted.

Don't mistake someone who (claims) I whitelisted (them) for me vouching for a user. First, you can verify who I whitelisted (and in this case it's true), but basically all I ask from a user is to convince me they're not going to spam. Most fail to convince me, some succeeded. Until now, none of them has been banned, so I take it I'm on the right track.
I'm just trying to do my share in helping real users who get hit by evil fees without deserving it.
