Don't know for other third world countries outside African but those in African are getting a taste of what it like to transact using crypto. Although the government haven't approved it yet as those services aren't offical but things are been bought mostly through peer2peer with some addition of some centralized service providers.

Funny but true although you should never make the mistakes of buying altcoins with Bitcoin instead buy altcoins with Fiats and trade them for Bitcoin when you get yourself some decent profits.
