Yes, that's the best approach to gambling, imo. When we try to make money with it -it's stressful. It's like any other job, but even more stressful because when doing a job, you might not get paid in the worst case scenario, and here you can lose money with your "working". But if you see it as a computer game, or any game for which you can sacrifice a few bucks, then you can really enjoy the process and feel relaxed instead of stressed in the end. And, of course, a possible nice win cannot be excluded.
