It isn't normal actually. Even the biggest losers in the gambling world manage to acquire a small portion of their winnings despite losing the majority of it due to their own greed and stupidity. This is why it's tough to believe op in this case.

It is normal case for me as I have seen many other gamblers were in the same situation where they lost everything due to internal problem of the casino such as hot wallet issue or withdrawal system issue.

For me he is complaining when he said about the refused withdrawals after he tried all day and night. It shows his discouragement for the issue he experienced. If he is fabricating a story to promote the casino, I do not think he will do it because such experience will not make attract people.
