Not true 😄😄😄 there was actually a way to mine ETH with 4GB graphic cards but I'm not sure it still works today, you will need to insert the 4gb card into the pcie x16 slot only meaning you can't add any extra GPU per motherboard

That hasnt been an option for quite some time. It was a brilliant hack by lolminer that used a small amount of system memory and the speed of the bus to provide the extra dag storage. The dag has long since out grown the limited bandwidth provided by the bus but was a tour de force of creative solutions.
