As fans foremost, I think we are all no longer surprised by anything that happens. If the season is cancelled, extended or anything else - it just does not have the same feeling as it did for the first lockdown because that was the first one (unchartered territory so to speak) therefore we were all clueless.

Now, as far as the Premier League and the fixtures are concerned I am not expecting to hear good news any time soon.

I'm conflicted about this, I don't want to see the season cancelled or even postponed anymore than the next fan, but it might be the right decision considering the amount of games that are getting postponed anyway. Could potentially cause some unfair match ups. I'd like to see just extending the season, fix the congestion issue in January, and then put players into "bubbles" as they did before. Then, set a rule if there's more than x amount of covid positives, then the game is postponed as a last resort. Managers should probably be expected to give their players some sort of punishment for breaching Covid rules too. I'm also obviously getting prepared to watch the rest of the season from TV without any fans, since that's probably the common sense thing to do.

In any case, if the number of infected players exceeds a certain limit, then the matches will have to be postponed for another period. Another question is that the calendar is not rubber and not only Jurgen Klopp expresses his dissatisfaction, but Josep Guardiola is already calling for a strike to draw attention to the busy schedule. Therefore, concerns about the health of players in case of coronavirus and postponement of matches lead to an even greater load and high injury rate. The season, of course, will be finished in any case, if necessary and in the absence of spectators, but the dissatisfaction of clubs with a busy schedule is constantly growing.

Whatever idea or decision the premier league officials comes out with, am okay with it. They should know what's the right step to take towards this covid-19 symptom of players.
I wouldn't mind if the premier league matches got postponed than risking the lives of players. The health of players should come first before entertaining we "fans".
