Well, anyone can trade and invest regardless of the experience but there's the advantage that he gets when he has it. But, he'll only get it through his own involvement in the market.

Experience is really the best teacher and if you won't invest with bitcoin in the beginning, you wouldn't be knowledgeable to invest with other altcoins. Don't underestimate the learnings that you could gain through actual trading no matter how big or small your starting amount is. Bitcoin as the father of all altcoins is too profitable especially if we'll search everything about it including its history.

Let's say that it's the king of the whole crypto market. It's a fact that with little experience and amount that you invest to bitcoin, you'll be able to experience its volatility.
And upon gaining that, you'll learn and get to understand why people are buying it and then eventually understands that the altcoin market is too volatile to jump too especially the uncommon ones.
