So Thriller hosted a "Boxing vs MMA" event which "merged" rules. However, anyone with half a brain can see how it's clearly rigged in favor of boxing. Without a doubt the shape of the ring affects the fight, a triangle is too restrictive, I will be honest I have never seen a ring like that and I do not think it is a good idea, after all there are some fighting styles that require you to react to what your opponent is doing and as such a ring like that discourages defensive strategies and benefits aggressive fighters, also I am not surprised that the MMA team won, after all it does not matter how restrictive are the rules they will have more techniques to use than the boxer and in a fight this is always an advantage.
