Everyone appreciate El Savador move in bitcoin adoption as legal tender but IMO there president is going too far in bitcoin favor. To be realistic the world is govern by fiat like USD, EURO and so on. El Savador still need USD in order to carry out trade with the world as not many countries are accepting crypto payment. Moreover El Savador president is buying BTC at high prices like on 55k, that truly not a good attitude specially when you are staking public money.

Exactly. El Salvador may have been more popular because of bitcoin and it gives more credit to its president. But i think Nayib Bukele is very much focused on bitcoin that he tends to forget that fiat is still existing and that people of El Salvador are still needing it for some reasons. I understand that Nayib believed much on bitcoin but as a president, you should not be a one sided person as you need to also consider that fiat is still the most in demand currency for now. Yes, bitcoin is the future currency but fiat will always exist as long as there is government.
