Due to the government regulations every crypto service provider have to imply KYC so they can continue their business that is why the mandatory KYC system is in place here and its the same with all the centralized exchanges as well to trade considerable amount and also even if there is no mandatory KYC we may have to provide them at any point of time in case of suspicion. But as long as we are submitting the documents to the established exchange or casino we may not have to worry too much.

descentralized ones follow different rules and don't really comply with local regulations 100% of the time

This will not comply with local rules but certainly from a centralized party as the rules are passed down so it must be done because KYC enforcement from there is not a local regulation.
Maybe because roobet is so well established they trust KYC even though many are against it but everything is going well even now roobet is still the best casino site even though there were previous KYC rules.

Gamblers just have no choice but to comply or else they will not access their accounts and this has been the issue before, I guess people already moved on and start to adopt the KYC thing of Roobet. There’s a good reason why they impose KYC as mandatory, they just have to explain this to gamblers and ensure the safety of our data. Well, its a good thing that KYC didn’t affect the reputation of Roobet that much.
