If there's ever a new Rank, I doubt it will be based on Merit only. It's been discussed before: What if Theymos added new Rank after Legendary?:-I vote for the name Legend. It's simple, and makes Legendary look a bit like "Legend-ish", while Legend sounds like "the real thing".

The merit requirement may already have to be much more than 2000 and may have to not take into account the airdropped merit. Anyhow, it should be a big step. At least that's how I see it.
