I don't think "derived" is the correct usage of the word, but I rather called it as connected/chained to the previous blocks.
Hence the word "block""chain" written together. They are chained together, they are obviously coming one after the other and we get to see what we send from one side to another that way. I do not care if those places have the greatest security ever, I believe that if we are talking about something that is dangerous, like our data getting stolen from a server, then we are talking about security problem.
I get that you may compare it to some other places, I get that you may say "but you are giving so much information on places like facebook, instagram and so forth" but none of that matters because one place being dangerous doesn't mean the other is fine for doing the same. KYC is a risky business, and it should always stay away from something like gambling, I get it on exchanges but casinos are a bit more sensitive for people who are not even criminals.
