In my opinion, These billions of dollars for mineral and metal content are ridiculous. Prices are established according to supply and demand. Rare earth metals are valued the way they are because of the available supply; if we suddenly quintuple the supply, the price would drop tremendously, and the true value will be just a few billion dollars.

It's valuable even in pre historic era, as you can see it is use in different aspects and fields. You see it is not just for ornaments and other wearable glittering stuffs for women. It has so many use cases, like in electronics, gold are good conductors of electricity. Your gadgets contains gold, mine and everyone else. Well for bitcoin it is a hedge for most of it's users. Originally it was created for P2P transactions and now, it is meant for people with money to get more money, they know how to do things and use it on their advantage.

The thing I want most for NASA to explore are metals that conducts free energy, or something similar like stones that are abundant on earth and somehow can be use as energy. We can find stones everywhere. I guess that dream of mine is never gonna happens, as far as I know Nikola Tesla somehow manage to get a hold of free energy and there goes the world blah blah for their own interest and stuffs.
